Formula Actions:

Xiao Yao San, also known as 'Free and Easy Wanderer', is a classic Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula used to soothe Liver Qi stagnation, harmonize the Liver and Spleen, and nourish Blood. It is commonly prescribed to address emotional stress, irritability, mood swings, fatigue, and digestive issues, as well as symptoms related to hormonal imbalances and PMS in women (including breast distention). Can also be used for tension headaches. The formula helps promote emotional balance and overall well-being, especially in cases where emotional and physical symptoms are intertwined.


Contraindications/ caution: Use with caution during pregnancy.


Preparation: Place teabag into a mug, or teapot, and add boiling water. Cover and wait 2 minutes for the first brew and allow 1 additional minute for subsequent brews. Re-brew the same tea bag throughout the day with boiling water until the flavor disappears.


Storage: This product has no preservatives so it's important to keep it in a cool and dry place. Keep away from direct sunlight. Keep the tea sealed and refrigerate after opening. Ideally, finish it within a month after opening.
